Abstract
Though Allama Shibli has immensely been acknowledged and praised
for his contribution especially in Persian Literature by number of Irani
Scholars and men of letters yet another Irani intellectual Fakhar Da'ee
Gilani is worth mentioning in this regard. He is the first who introduced
Shibli with the Iranians. He met Shibli number of times. He published very
nice translations of Shibli's many books. This article is an account of Gilani's
life and work with special reference to Allama Shibli Naumani.
