Abstract
This article encompasses Hazrat Ali (A.S)'s dynamic and versatile personality as depicted in the Persian poetry of some of the renowned sub-continent poets like Meer Soob-e-Dar Khan, Azeem Thatvi, Ahmed Raza Khan Barailvi, and Hassan Jaeysee. Hazrat Ali (A.S)'s character for many centuries has been the fountain of inspiration for poets and writers belonging to various religions around the globe. He has many different facets to his personality: in war he is viewed as the god of Jehad, in prayer his piety stands second only to the Prophet(P.B.U.H) himself, in justice he is considered the epitome of righteousness, in oratory he possesses hitherto unmatched eloquence, and in sagacity he is famed to display immortal knowledge and wisdom. The aforementioned are only just some of his personal traits.
