Abstract
Rahman Baba the versatile Pashto Classic poet known as the poet of humanity has
left deep impact not only on the poets of modern age but also on the poets of his time as
well. Same is the case with the Indian style poet Ali Khan. The artistic and subjective
impact of the poetry of Rahman Baba is clearly seen in the poetry of Ali Khan. This
research paper attempts a comparative study between their poetries. Furthermore, it
declares Ali Khan as one of the followers of Rahman Baba. But it should also be very
clear that he followed Rahman Baba to some extent, not completely.
