This paper presents the views about the
tolerance in the light of the Kautiliya Chanakya's
thoughts and Islam.Tolerance is the basic
componant of any stablizing society.The
Chanakya's thoughts and the primary sources of
Islam are also included in this research paper.
According to their views it is said that tolerance
is the foundation of stability,unity,progress and
prosperity.
It is a common and idealistically
beautiful notion that most of the teachings of the
reformers essentially practice and preach the
same teachings for the betterment of the
world.Unless people of different religions live in
peace harmony and mutual respect and cooperation, all our hopes and aspirations will be
futile and all our wonderful achievements will be
fruitless.Therefore, it is the need of the day to
develop the spirit of tolerance and understanding
among the followers of any religion.
