Allah Almighty is the creator of the whole universe. He sent His messengers from time to time to guide the people on the right path. The chain of prophets came to an end on the last prophet Muhammad PBUH. To test the human beings Allah has put the capacity of doing well or bad on their own will and has provided the opportunity of both. Duties of the prophets were to enjoin the people to do well and to prevent them from doing bad. They would give good news to their respective nation on following the dictates of Allah almighty, such as forgiveness, calm & serene life, forever entrance to paradise where each desire and lust will be carried out. Similarly they used to warn them about the dire consequences on account of disobedience such as restlessness, disaster & catastrophe and finally the fire of hell etc. but this warning and admonish were the outcome of their well-wishing, mercy upon their respective nation, based on precautionary measures. When any calamity and destruction occurs due to disobedience, then it is very difficult to protect humans. No one can challenge, stop or divert natural disaster, caused by the rebellion of human. Preventing and warning in advance is advisable. As the prophets were taught through revelation, so they were far more fore sighted and due to their soft and sympathetic nature they used to warn in advance, that is why they were called Nazir, the one who warns. The given article critically discusses that to help humanity in the catastrophe and calamities is a great deed, but to save humanity from involving in all those activities which result in catastrophe and destruction is greater work. In fact it denotes, more foresightedness, of the prophets and their feelings and desires of eternal salvation for their respective Ummah.
