Islam is the only acceptable religion before Allah, which demands its followers to surrender and submit his/her will to the will of Allah Almighty. By doing so, the Muslims will enjoy peace, tranquility and eternal solvation. Being the religion of peace, Islam encourages and promotes dialogues, treaties and compromise with Non-Muslims, provided that its basic ideology, originality, distinction and identity is not disturbed. The given article critically discusses demarcation of Islamic concept of compromise. On one hand it points out such occasions, where Islam teaches and encourages compromise, tolerance and cooperation to create and maintain peace, harmony and conducive environment, which resulted in benefits. On the other hand those occasions have also been discussed where Islam does not recommended any flexibility, but emphasis to stand still and stick to your stance for the sake of preserving the distinction. By giving references from Quran, Hadith & Seerat, it has been proved that Islam strongly recommends mutual co-existence with the NonMuslims, but never ready for mutual co-acceptance.
