Objectives of Shari'a always influence the commandments of Shari'a.Their role is very
important in Islamic legislation even they sometimes affect religious prayers and offering.To
have the better understanding of its application,the knowledge of the direct and indirect
application of the sources of Shari'a is necessary.However it is authentic that the legislation
process of Shari'a is greatly affected due to careless and inproper application of objectives of
Sharia.Importance of knowing the objectives of Shari'a is as much vital and necessary for
"Mujtahid or Faqeeh" as is for a lay man,preachers and even for non- muslims.
No doubt if the objectives of Shari'a are on the point of need,they have binary
opposition effects as Wajib becomes left over and Haraam becomes Halal.It is another thing
that objectives of Shari'a influence the commandments of Shari'a in two ways i-e compulsory
and exceptional.But it should also be made clear that objectives of Shari'a are reliable only
when they are in accordance and hormony with the authentic four sources of Shari'a.It is
because that need based things are not to be replaced with permanent and authentic four
sources of Shari'a in Islamic jurisprudece.
