One of the aspects Imam Ibn al-QayyimAl-Jawziyah – God bless his
soul - concerned with was answering the apparently contradicted and
different Hadiths. He always discusses Hadiths that have contradiction
and difference in appearance, then he proves that they are not
contradicted at all as he is a well versed scholar in Sharia
Sciences.Therefore he talked about the Hadiths that cause a dilemma
and made it well understood and clear their meanings. Imam Ibn alQayyim had discussed the claim of some Hadiths contradiction with
some Imams - God bless their souls, he replied to others about what
they think. Imam Ibn al-Qayyim has his own dependent scientific
personality which sometimes provide support, discussion, or
correction. Imam Ibn al-Qayyim was interested in contradicted
Hadiths and participated in providing writings and reports that no one
did before. He had mentioned many aspects in weighting texts when
discussing variant evidences that were spread all over his books, some
relate to the narration, vocabulary meaning, or other items.
