Egypt has been the producing nursery of poets and writers for the last two
centuries.It has also welcomed writers and poets from the neighbor Arab
countries and thus became a rich land of knowledge. Those writers produced
literature in many areas and on variety of subjects including novels that portray
primarily Egyptian society, its issues and solutions in different stages of its
development, starting from era before World War 1st
, passingin between the two
World Wars and then in the post-World War 2nd era. In the last stage, the novel
had reached to its perfection in the hands of some active and thought-provoking
writers who bring the issues of the Egyptian society to the top and ultimately the
novel became the most readable of all kind of genre of literature. One of those
brilliant writers was Muahmmad Abdul Haleem Abdullah who contributed to
bring Arabic novel to its best mode. This brief study allows reader to unveil the
literary treasure of Abdul Haleem Abdullahspecifically in his novels; his writing
inclinations and reflections of his own life and his beliefs since childhood. The
study comprises two sections: first section describes life of Abdul Haleem and
his literary works, the other section shed light upon his inclinations in his
novels. These sections are followed by important findings and recommendations.
