There are two common mediums to present a particular story to the public. One is Through a Fiction and the other is through a Film. In Fiction, we are moved by Characters, incidents and story, not by the emotions of the person who happens to be telling the story. A film takes us on a journey that engage with our minds and emotions. The adaptation of a film is a form of relationship between literature and film. When a film maker decides to adapt a piece of fiction into a film they must impress the characters, incidents or story as well as they can for the movie to be successful. In simple term the theme, the characters and the flow of story line are the same in both Film and Fiction. So the readers and audience can get the same feeling after reading the book or after watching the movie. Adaptations were greeted positively at first, with critics thinking educational and innovative. It may be that a particular film adaptation is a high quality work of art that connects with its audience and that it captures many of the themes and ideas of the fiction.Film adaptation takes the audience on an emotional ride. In film adaptation differentiations happen so as to allow to stand " as meaningful works of art." Cinema is wonderful and film can be entertaining but pedagogically it needs to be approached carefully. Fidelity, accuracy and truth are all important measuring devices that should not be utterly ignored or neglected in evaluating a film adapted from fiction.Film adaptation studies invites in a vital and fertile area of aesthetics, contributing new questions, research, perspectives and ideas to the study of literary, televisual and filmic arts.
