Abstract
In linguistics, morphology is the identification, analysis and description of the structure of a given language's morphemes and other linguistic units such as root words, affixes, parts of speech, intonations, stresses and the implied context. In Arabic morphology, “Mirahul Arwah” is one of the important books written by Islamic scholars. Owing to its importance in the books on Arabic grammar, many scholars have written its commentaries. One of them is Al Mahdi Al Hanafi, a Pakistani writer, who wrote a glorious and marvelous commentary on it. Unfortunately, this book has not been verified and published yet. In this article, the writer describes the services of subcontinental scholars in the field of Arabic grammar and then he goes to the commentary on “Mirahul Arwah by Al Mahdi Al Hananfi” and presents its comprehensive study.
