Moral values in Iqbal’s Urdu Poetry
Abstract
Moral values are the essence of humanity, being a great Muslim
philosopher Allama Muhammad Iqbal derived these absolute values
by Quran –o- Sunnah. He advised Muslim to raise their level of
morality by bravery, brotherhood, helping others, optimism, harmony
and equality, these values provides personal autonomy and
opportunities for the development of personality and character. He
strongly believed if people are true to their faith and belief, they are
above faith, this article presents the significance of moral values in
Iqbal’s Urdu poetry.
