Aesthetic and Melancholic Aspect of Shah Latif’s Poetry

Abstract
Aestheticism is an all-encompassing term for all forms of beauty whether natural or man-made, subjective or objective, spiritual or physical. Shah Latif’s poetry is replete with ideas portraying beauty in its myriad forms. He depicts multiple colours and shades of his motherland. His poetry is a splendid projection of the beauty of humanly thoughts and passions. Shah Latif’s poetry is also a sublime representation of inner pain and anguish. Latif’s verse is a grand portrayal of universal beauty in its multitude shapes and forms. This research article focuses on beauty and pain and their intricate relationship in the poetry of Shah Latif
