Abstract
The aim of the Paper is to identify the crisis of identity, and measure
the scope to which it is affecting social and national character. The
paper attempts to identify and establish the prevailing gap between
the Islamic identity and the personal, social and national character.
Based on the findings of the research the paper intends to
recommend an action plan to intervene to achieve desired character
