Abstract
The purpose of this study is to review the education system of Pakistan interms of its ideology and practices since 1947 as well as its effects on Nation's life, Ideology, Culture and attitude of the people. Education without any Ideology is baseless and no significant impact has been produced on the life of nation and a country. Being an Islamic State, Pakistan came into being on the Ideology of Islam that proved and strengthen by the two nation theory. Therefore, the education system of Pakistan should reflect such Ideology that Promote Nationalism, Patriotism and peaceful living of the people. The Methodology of this study is qualitative based on indepth literature review. The study revealed that Government of Pakistan and all concerned institutions should get rid of the old British colonial system and Neo American system in future. They should develop their own education system that based on Islamic Ideology and make sure all necessary measure for implementation by law. Single curriculum, Single medium instruction and a single system of education is now a dire need of Pakistan.
