Abstract
Birds a beautiful, rather the most beautiful creation in the world. They are called Tāir as well as Taer. The obvious reason for calling them birds is the feathers on their bodies that give them the ability and dexterity to fly. Qurānic Zoology is actually the information of animals, and the revelations about animals existing in Qurān. More than one thousand books provide information about science. The facts about animals written in Quran have a complete correspondence with the modern science. Two hundred verses of Qurān are about the animals and total thirty-five animals are mentioned in Qurān with their names. Among them there are birds, the animals of water, insects, wild and pet animals, etc. Even some of Suurāhs of Quran are named after animals. Allāh has granted the birds with breath-taking and amazing qualities for which the human intellect is astonished. There are so many species of birds that they are out of the circle of discovery. Since my topic here is birds, so I will try my best to limit the discussion in the aforementioned circle. Let us explore how Allāh in Qurān has given the personifications of the birds.
