Abstract
The objective of the study was to identify the peace related
elements in the Text Book of Urdu of Punjab Text Book
Board Lahore which was being taught to the students during
the session (2017-2018) at secondary level. The researchers
carried out content analysis and in this regard thoroughly
studied the Urdu text books of 9th and 10th classes and
identified the different peace related elements. Peace related
elements were presented in tabulation form. It was concluded
that peace related elements were found only in 21 lessons in
this text book.
