Abstract
Tolstoy was a Russian writer who is regarded as one of the
greatest authors of all time. He is best known for novels WAR
AND PEACE (1869) and ANNA KARENINA (1877). War
and Peace is regarded as a central work of world literature and
one of the Tolstoy's finest literary achievements. In this
article, the author has discussed the quality of the two famous
translations of the novel War and Peace in Urdu
