Abstract
Dr. Saleem Akhtar (B:1934) is known as distinguish critic, fiction writer and
psychologist from almost seventy years of his creative life. He wrote almost
hundred books including Urdu literature, criticism, history of Urdu language and
literature, psychology and satire. He wrote his auto-biography named:
'Nishan-e-Jigar-e- Sokhta' in 2005, which is in fact psycho-analysis of his
personality. This article is an attempt to peep into psychological effects in Dr.
Saleem Akhtar's personality with the help of his auto biography
'Nishan-e-Jigar-e- Sokhta'.
