Abstract
Drama has a unique status among short story, novel and tale. All and sundry
have interest in this genre of fiction. Today, media like theater, television, radio
and internet are becoming a source to transmit this genre in the entire world.
Drama is only genre of literature which has a vast circle of viewers. In the field
of research and critics, where other forms of fiction are in progress, the same
work on drama is not more worthwhile.
This article identifies the important derivations of Urdu drama which will open
new avenues for new researchers and critics.
