Abstract
Poetical translations of known and popular poets of different languages are
common. The main objective of these works was to introduce the prominent
poets of a specific language to the readers of other language so that the
readership and vastness of literature among different languages takes place
simultaneously. This practice is seen in Punjabi and Urdu languages where the
poetical works of important and popular poets were translated from one
language to other language. In this article the poetical translation of the poetry of
Sultan Bahu is discussed by a well known classical and mystical Punjabi poet,
Abdul Majeed Bhatti.
