Abstract
In urdu literature romanticism is being called a literery movement in
varios books of literature and criticism. In this article i have proved by
reasons that romanticism is a trend not a movement in Urdu literature. In
this perspective ,i have also defined the differance of trend ,movement and
Ism so that we could examine the true picture
