Abstract
As for as the history of Urdu National Poetry is concerned,it emerged
regularly in the second half of 19th century when Maulana Altaf Hussain
Haali and Maulana Muhammad Hussain Azad started the Movement of
Natural Poetry in Urdu. Many Urdu poets created such poetry in the said
era which deals with different national issues.Maulana Shibli Naumani is
an important poet amongst such poets.In this article the authors have
critically analysed the national aspects of the poetic works of Maulana
Shibli Naumani while giving relevant poetic examples from his poetry
