Abstract
Colonialism remained prevalent in the world from sixteen the to mid
twentieth century and victimized a number of countries. How colonialism
devastated fundamental human and birth rights of victimized nations is
now a part of the antiquity. This article analytically focuses on the deadly
consequences of colonialism in the light of Iqbal's philosophy and thought.
In Iqbal views, the nations brought up in slavery are devoid of the
freedom of thought and self respect because colonialism not only exploits
them economically but also intellectually. That is why the nations captured
in the talons of slavery cut themselves off from their real identity and
become morons intellectually.
