Abstract
Dr Daud Rahber (1926 - 5 Oct 2013) was a scholar of comparative
religions, Arabic, Persian, Urdu literature and Indian classic music. Rahber
is regarded as accomplished essayist, poet, composer, translator,
philospher, contributer to inter-civilization dialogue, musicologist,
drummer, singer and guitarist.. After teaching career in England , Canada,
Turkey and The United States, he retired as a Professor Emeritus of
comparative religions from Boston University in 1991. In his book " Kalchar
kay Ruhani Anasir '' he has explained in his own way the world's major
religions and cultures. He seems tolerant of all faiths because he knows the
essence of them all."
