Abstract
There is no doubt that the Mussaddas-e-Madojazar-e-Islam is poetry
and the Hayat e Javid are the Hali's "Magnum-opus", but unfortunality his
other elegant works were neglected by even the Notabesl of Urdu
Literature Hali was not only a great poet, prose, reformer, a literary giant
but he also stood tall among his peers in the line of educational reforms to
the forgotten masses and in particular to the women's education.
It was Ghalib's vigionary look and his advise to Hali to continue his
poetry writing. It is a fact that Hali got inspiration from both of his mentors
Ghalib and Shefta, but in the later life the Punjab Government Book Depot.
at Lahore where he was looking the translations of foreign language books
into Urdu, made him acquainted and aware of the best western literative,
which changed his style and contents of his subject in the future life. The
thoughts and message spread in this article provide Hali's transparent
sincerity, revolutionary ideas, deep sense of truth and his advise to get
adjust with the people for a better life. The elegies of Ghalib and Sir Syed
arrated their personalities, their work and deeds. Many Urdu poems throw
the Women right of education. Hali was also keenly interested in children
education, and his poems on children changed the unwise and toxic
perception of the old generation thought process.
