تلخیص
The phrase: “poetry is the register or Arabs” was
firstly said by honorable Ibn i Abbas (r.a), because, he
used to deliver lectures about their poetry a day in a week
that the pupil may learn the contextual and dictionary
meaning of a word used in a sentence of a Quranic verse
or a Hadith bytaking evidence for it from a poetical verse.
This was because of revealing of Quran and Sunnah
according to their daily use of dialogues.
This article interprets in a scholarly way the said
phrase according to the explanation of Quranic scholars
and offers its applications, particularly, in the Islamic era
and several examples have also been given for more
lighting the phrase.
