Communication is the basis of daily life. In fact, it is the basic and most vital
human instinct. “The process of sharing ideas, information and messages with
others in a particular time and date is called communication.” It includes writing
and talking, as well as non-verbal communication, (such as facial expressions,
body language or gestures), visual communication (the use of images, or pictures
such as paintings, photography, video or film) and electronic communication
(telephone calls, e-mails, cable TV or satellite broadcasts). Communication is the
most vital element of our daily life and is also significant in other walks of life
such as business, education and any other situation where people encounter each
other for any purpose. Communication between two people is an outgrowth of
methods developed over centuries of experience. Gestures, the development of
languages and the necessity to engage in joint action in daily life, all played a
part.
