Pakistan-China relations are based on decades. Political changes could not disrupt these relations that remained ever strong in spite of political changes in Pakistan. People of both the states like each other. Pakistanis always warmly welcomed the Chinese investment in Pakistan. Pakistan’s textile sector was damaged because of Chinese competition since the ending of the Multi-Fiber agreement. History is not an obstacle to project a better future as a basic contest in the region. However, in Pakistan the real issue is not its relationship with India but its own future trajectory: Whether Pakistan will continue to emerge as an established, democratic republican, moderate Islamic state or sink in extremism, ethnicity, unemployment, terrorism and hawkishness. A bright future of both the states is attached with each other. Pakistan is promoting herself in agriculture, industry, textile and infrastructure with the help of China.
