After May 2014 general elections, BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) was the major party won the most seats and established their government with coalition parties. India is a big country both in land and population criteria so the approaches adopted by BJP led NDA government, toward religious minorities has been under discussion. The population of country consists of 80% Hindus and 20% other religions with majority of Muslims. The violation of human rights in India against minorities like Muslims, Sikh and Christians has often been in news but during the rule of BJP, the condition has gone worst even the lower costs of Hindus are being targeted also. Muslims are the one who suffered most under the Hindutva ideology, either if it was in the form of Citizen’s amendment bill or abrogation of article 370.
